No, I ignored the rules in a company. The result was success for me. The reason is that the rules of the company were causing an error in the application that costed me 3 months extra work without any success with my project. Rules must be examined and you have the right to doubt whether they are correct and if they fit. Some rules are an obstacle. Experience is the proof.
