Being an indian and closely associated to e-comm industry I would strongly disagree with introduction of COD.The reason being:
1. It brings in more issue than benifits.
2. Other than the logistic issues it also couples the cash handeling issues which increases your per trsansaction cost.
3. Now with the availability of mobile money and its acceptance in africa you have a better option to COD.
4. To control costs that crops up out of COD is more difficult to control unless you have your own team to handel COD stil its not fool proof.
5. Long term costs associated with COD are more detrimental to business and COD alone has the capability (if not controlledproperly) to shut down businesses
