Academic writing involves a huge and detailed evaluation of knowledge.

The focus of which is provide the light over the topic.

Henceforth, simple steps to make it interesting and impressive.

Underwritten is a personal evaluation and according to the changing times the rules of writing differ.

1. Always use bullets, that would prevent it from looking dull and boring.

2. Use layman's language so as to convey precise and straight to the point knowledge.

3. Try not to use personalised language, instead use professional language.

A little bit of personalisation would do, keeping in mind that it should be pleasant.

4. Try not to beat around the bush.

5. You must sound confident about the subject in your writing style.

6. Plagiarization is an enemy and one must be aware of it being a professional writer .

7. Try not to use Ifs and buts.

8.  It is sensible to provide an evaluation than an opinion.

9. Lengthy texts and paragraphs make the report boring.

Every report has different specifications and it is important to sound confident.

Confidence can be acquired by proper research and knowledge.

Rule no. 1. Do not use contractions (like "don't, wouldn't, shouldn't," etc.). Spell out both words fully e.g. "do not," "would not," "should not," etc.

Rule no. 2. Do not use slang. If you absolutely cannot live without slang, at least place it in quotation marks ("Like hey man, lose the groovy lingo. You dig? Later man.")

Rule no. 3. Do not use cliches. Overused and hackneyed old expressions need to be retired and are usually vague. Cliches are viewed with dismay by most readers. Using your own words leads to more precision in your word choice and more meaning for your sentence.

Rule no. 4. Do not use the words "really" or "very" to try to emphasize a point (e.g. It was "really, very" important.) These are almost always unnecessary filler words in spoken language and the written sentence will sound better without the unneeded redundancy (e.g. "It was important.")

Rule no. 5. Do not make up words by turning nouns into verbs e.g. "journaling" instead of the more correct and older "journalizing." Use your Merriam-Webster dictionary.

Rule no. 6. Do use page numbers and a title. Make your title interesting rather something dull like "Written Assignment 57."

Rule no. 7. Do say exactly what you mean using precise word choices and giving specific information to support your proposition or thesis. Define your terms.

Rule no. 8. Do tell your reader something new about the subject. Say something significant and important. Do not blather on. Say something thoughtful and intelligent. This will usually require some brainstorming, list making, outlining, and other prewriting.

Rule no. 9. Do start off with a clear thesis statement of the main idea. Make sure the first paragraph leaves a good first impression with a thesis statement, fluent writing, and no mechanical errors.

Rule no. 10. Do write better than you speak. With writing you have the opportunity to catch and correct all of those sloppy little things we tend to do in our spoken English.

Academic writing is almost like technical writing. The same characteristics are found in academic writing. Except that academic writing is research- specific while the technical writing is career -specific. There a lot of things you have to be careful when you write any academic paper: 1. Avoid redundancy. 2. Avoid unfamiliar, long word. 3. Follow the style of the institution you are writing for. 4. Be careful with elements of design you may use e.g. graphs. 5. Avoid long, confusing and complex sentences. 6. Take into consideration that you are writing to people who are not experts as well as peopl who are experts. 7. Be clear as much as possible in writing. 8. The organization should be perfect explaining a clear idea. 9. Keep on one track to help the reader understand. 10. Do not use contractions. 11. Avoid plageriasm. 12. Consult books of research design for referencing the right way. 13. Avoid slang words because it is an academic paper. 14. Choose the best pattern that tackles your study e.g. cause to effect or compare and contrast pattern ... etc. There are many things you have to take care of when you write. So, I recommend you read well before start conducting your academic piece.
