Yes and they're on the way where mobiles' cameras are giving a high quality image like the one of the Samsung S7 mobile. Moreover many short movies are being shot with mobiles with some extra tools and are attending festivals too.

In a general terms, yes. But for specific purpose, I don't think so. Because smartphones and similar gadget is designed for general use only, not for professional needs, because of its limitations in feature.

In this era where each day a new technology is invented you can never know whats new that will come up the next day.As for now i thing mobiles can never replace video cameras. Video cameras have more functionalities, control od aperture, iso and shutter speed.

In a common use it's already the case, but in professional use never, professional tools offer a variety of possibilities and a quality that a mobile phone will never equal, just an example with the sensor, the bigger it is, the better it is (for the shallow depth of field etc.) ... and mobile phones are getting thinner and smaller, so we never could fit those giant sensors inside !

No. Professional video cameras are capable of changing lens, capturing more details, generating true colors (for color grading), control over manual exposure with lighting and many more other features that are not possible to integrate in mobile cameras. Although both the video camera and mobile camera will simultaneously forge their path to technology and innovation pinnacles, it is my opinion that mobile camera will never replace the video camera.

It isn't the camera. How many times have we heard that? It is the photographer! Many of the things I do for fun, Whether you're shooting a basketball game from the sidelines or the great wildebeest migration in the Masai Mara, you're going to want a camera with a lens that's fast ... For those desiring full auto exposure and focusing, a slight drop to 12 fps is sure to capture the perfect action-packed moment with precise focusing. That can probably be built in to a phone eventually.
