Is Digital Marketing correct medium for promoting the brand in Cement Industry of today?

The brand marketing in B2B segment within today's building material industry and ever changing market, is it recommended to go ahead with conventional practices. Looking at the global markets in this particular category the segment has extreme variation from country to country and from region to region.

Many professionals and industry audience are not that active on Digital mediums as the industry dynamics of many other industries or for Construction industry. Hence if we change today the way brand marketing is done within Cement Industry will it add vale, and how will this convert in real ROI and what are the best and effective mediums for doing the same.

I think with Cement and other commodities that are less volatile when it come to prices, a producer should use a specialized marketing technique. For instance, the producer website should attract people who search for term like (cement, cement producer, cement wholesaler ...etc) by adding tags to their website. They also advertise in industrial magazines that directed towards contractors and building materials. Participating in exhibitions is also a good way to meet other wholesalers.
