if plan a doesn't fit there is a plan b and c there are26 letter in english don't despair never

If our projects are based on some particular circumstances, then multiple plans are required.

In some areas, like security multiple plans like plan A, plan B, plan C can be formed and implemented. But i am in the favor of multifacet security plan in this regard.

I beleieve that the Plan A should be always followed ,but plan is the Plan as it mean we can change it because we didn't change the scope.

I belive that we have in the iron triangle3 variable parameter(time, cost, quality) and only1 is fixed parameter(scope).

Example: scope of project is that we have  people cut the high way road to the other side we planned that the tunnel is the best idea, after we start the project we found due to old house located on both sides, the tunnel will affect on the infrastructure of the building......

Project stops and we went to plan B it's the bridge.

Now we have scope never changed but plans could be changed, that's why there's in project management contengency plan for similar cases.

I see that in all your plans for anything you have to have plan A, B, C, ... ets.

becouse it is important to not go to any thing to do witheout a Plnas.

If we use PERT analysis in project, which has optimistic, pessimistic and most likely scenarios, we can have a plan that is sufficient to face most of the known aspects that you know you will or might have. As for the unforeseen cases within the initial planning period, we can include contingency plan(s) to mitigate or even avoid the risks. Therefore by having one plan, you will have various options, and effectively become plan B, plan C, and so forth.

Definitely Yes. Plan A is best case scenario. Plan B is average case scenario and plan C is worst case scenario. Projects have greater impact of time and cost. Usually best or worst case scenario donot get materialiize. One need to have backup plan to roll on without interrupting regular business process.

100% yes, since any unexpected reason can make changes in best plan for project if i am going to decide i will always have a plan B to avoid being stopped or being faced with irreplaceable delays. Sure this is kind of artistic technique of a smart project manager to recon any possible issue in the way of executing the plan A.

I always include plan B and C if it high priority as you have to be very well prepared so if anything went wrong you don’t have to go back to first step and start again, and by time your team will understand and be ready for all possible changes without resistance
