Do you accept to work at a good company that prevent you from using and holding your mobile during the work time period?

Company mobile, company business - Yes

Private mobile, personal business - No

This is why it is called 'work time'.

Yes, of course and this is a very know security policy in big corporations such as IBM. 

At plant and esp in production area, we have this policy for labour and workers and due to altertness at floor they were not allowed to carry cell phones but for management or office based staff their is no such policy. Though, we(HR) during initial orientation breif them about such policy and asked them to used it or official purpose or minimum for personal use.

Absolutely agree with it.  Mobile phones should only be allowed on your desk in emergencies

Work time is work time.

Obviously if you have a mobile for work then that is acceptable anytime anywhere.

People get too caught up in social media and cannot stop themselves from checking their mobiles every so often and texting is such an annoying habit that people get addicted

Good career oppurtunity is much better than using and holding a mobile phone during work time.

If there is a fix phone where I can be joined, not having a mobile during the day is not a problem and can even be good for the efficiency. The most important is to be able to be joined by our clients and also my family in case of urgency.

I don't mind that at all, but durring my break its up to me.
