How can you define Graphic Design? it's a profession or it's in the blood of the designers?

It can be both, but at some point it can be a gift!, but it doesnt mean that those who are not gifted cannot be graphic designer :)

sometimes the smart ones beat the artists in thier game with intellegance ^_^ .

It is a little of both!

 

During college years, a soon to be designer is filled with fire, filled with creative thoughts and ideas, and slowly anticipating and waiting for their professional careers to start...

 

Unfortunately, designer are needed to do as told, regardless of creative or the deigner's point of view. Which is why designers tend to loose attachement to their "creative passion" and treat a job as a regular profession or a dull, routine job.

 

Things are not totally hopeless though, many graphic designer proefession (depending on the industry), happen to have that motivational, inspiring workspace and work environment that a designer would love to work in - So if you are a designer and unhappy, then it is not totally your profession's fault, maybe try to look for opportunities elsewhere. You don't know what you might get...
