i guess you mean women as girlfriends who men spend too much money and rent an apartment for here,buys here acar,and then uses him  until he is broke.

Career depends upon your actions and performance women has nothing to do with it until you get addicted to the beauty and deviate from your priorities. No one   can control your actions its you who has to take decsions. So set your priorities and goals and remain focused. Women appreciate and love to be around those who are focused and dedicated.

I think its not just women its about bad habits there are some men who think ljust to look macho , they should be holding a glass of scotch and a smoke in hand.

These habits cost a lot. Some people loves to be attraction of party , I also was addicted to it once where just to enjoy loud music and enjoy on dance floor i used to spend lot of money. So a man who is focused on something looses focus because of such habits and such habits will surely will show up on your career as well.

There should be good balance of everything in life work hard, enjoy, spend time with family , be healthy  think healthy, be focused.

This is statement is partially true not completed, addiction is not the growth of career, a person should have to make a focus on his action. A woman is a part of your life and Work is a continuous part of life up end.

Avoid to opt ways disliked by your religion.

Try to implement your believed religious orders on your whole life even you are a serving person or a business man

I may agree with you all, but in my opinion segregation of duties and personal life is very important, because when a women feels that you are caring for your future she'll care about you more and wont make you fall behind, but wait.. you also shouldn't forget about her too.. It's some how a balance game, if you balanced it then congrats..you won !
