Giving appreciation , give best employee of the month and if company policy has any small gift voucher give along with Best Employee of the month as reward that would be ideal

at the end of the day at my day job my boss would always say Thank you
it makes it more personal ,you feel good knowing that the boss reconizes the effort you put in and the hard work you do on a daily basis , I still remember my first day17 yrs working in a k-8th grade School office an let me tell you you have more crazy days than normal,at the end of my first day as i was leaving he told me Thank You ,i stopped in tracks and turned around i didnt know what to say so i just smiled at him, The simple gesture of saying Thank You makes one feel that they are appreciated

A simple thank you and show that he cares, people want to be cared for, valued and respected as individuals. If managers do this, employees will repay the efforts many times over. In a nutshell it is the golden rule for motivation.

you can only wish !!! because he is your boss(he is not suppose to work hard). try a different stream to work smarter so that your boss could do work.
