That's a very interesting quetsion:

I do believe that motivating employees may vary from an environment to another but in most cases there are fundamental tactics that should be helpful to keep them productive and cooperative:

- Clear communicated work objectives, expectations and standards: Make sure that everyone is aware of what's expected from him/her and it's related reward

- Employee Engagement: During the planning phase, give your employees the opportunity to contribute with their suggestions, comments, ideas, etc and give them the space to elaborate their viewes and opinions; how it works? and how it could be beneficial to the whole organization? and more important is how their ideas and suggestions can contribute to the organizational vision, mission and organizational obejectives

- Use some motivational office boosters: like employee of the month board "Hang a board at the middle of each office: put their names " you may use their nick names" and monthly working days. Every day you can put a star or even a magnet to mark the cells of employees who have done best this day. Employee of the month reward may be "Cinema/ theatre tickets, best seller books, Mobile acessories, Office stationary sets, etc"

- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss your current work progress, an dsend them always progress reports to involve them in the process evaluation.

- Be sharp and fast with any kind of workplace drama "gossips, power struggles, resistance, reluctancy, etc" before it spreads like a flu

- Provide coaching whenever possible: use positive language and pick up their positive ations even if they are little, avoid critcism and always provide an alternative to poor solutions and lt them figure out what's left undone.

- Be ready to carry the bowel: lead by example, especially with undersirable work units

- Regular Training and Orientation: Invite them to partcipate in a regular learning cycle. Eevryone cna prepare an interesting work related topic to present to the whole team. May be every month or every week. So you will ensure their committment to learning, an dyou cna indirectly teach them what they want tehm to develop or change.
