PLC stands for programming logic control.we control the hardware using user-defined software.
for example:
in electrical we use the plc program to synchronize the generator on existing bus.
It stands for Programable Logic Controller, which is a microcontroller based device capable of computing mathmatical and logic operations according to a spcific program recorded on its memory to determine the outputs values crossponding to input value. mainly used in industerial process, power plant , oil & gas field.
PLC is programmable Logical controller. Which is a microprocessor based controller device with specific amount of memory which we can program as per a specific automation flow required for a machine. To do this they need a set of inputs and outputs which is either integrated to the plc or can be expanded as per the need. The microprocessor will read this input and controls the output as per the logic written in the plc.
Key manufacturers in PLC are Siemens, Allen bradley, Mitsubushi, Ge Fanuc, Schneider etc

PLC stands for Programmable Logic Controller. A PLC is a Microprocesspr based Controller used for used for automation of processes, such as control of machinery on factory assembly lines, compressors in Reffinery, etc.
The early PLCs were designed to replace relay logic systems.
There are different types of PLCs available. Some have fixed I/O and some can be expanded upto some limit. Then nowadays we have completely modular PLC systems also. we can program as per a specific automation flow required for a machine. To do this they need a set of inputs and outputs
PLCs can be used for both Discrete and Analog I/Os. The communication is done through Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422.
The programming is done by ladder programming.
