Being a writer you would have set a goal/aim behind your work (writings). For example you would like a specific class to get maximum advantages of your work.
I took a university-level creative writing class three years ago which really helped in expanding my skills in both the fields of writing and editing. The class was managed in a way that all the students in the class were to peer-review everyone's stories and add suggestions to the story, or recommend a different way to phrase a certain expression. So this helped me improve both my writing and my ability to detect grammatical errors, or to even be able to restructure and rephrase a sentence until it is in its most perfect form.
