It was just another long day at work. I wasn't happy at my company. I didn't get along with my manager, who didn't seem to know anything about my responsibilities and didn't seem to realize how important our department was to the company. It was one of those times you feel that you must look for something else.

I had just heard of a new recruitment site called Bayt.com, so I said to myself, "Why not? I might as well try it. I have nothing to lose."

I logged on to the Bayt.com site, registered, and created my CV. I conducted a quick job search, and there was my "Dream Job"!!! I applied immediately, but didn't think anything would happen.

When I got home that same day, I checked my answering machine and there was a message: "Hi Khaled. This is Ruba from NEWTEK, and we have received your application through Bayt.com. We would like to invite you for an interview." I couldn't believe my ears! A response that quick and for my dream job! I thought to myself, "Bayt.com really works!!!"

I called Ms. Ruba, and we scheduled an interview with NEWTEK's GM. Within a few days, I received an offer from NEWTEK, which I gladly accepted.

What made things even better was that my wife was about to deliver our first baby boy. I felt it was God's gifts to us: a new baby and a new job.
