    HSE Engineer

    Job Description

    Our client, a world leader in the design and supply of water, wastewater treatment and water desalination systems, is seeking to recruit a HSE Engineer. Your main job responsibility would be implementing all activities in projects, construction, Operations and Maintenance in compliance with the companyclient HSE requirements and meet locallegal regulations. Other job responsibilities would include Developing and implementing project specific HSE plans, activity hazard analysis, risk assessments, job safety and environment analysis Complying with company's IMS procedures and locallegal requirements Coordinating with clientconsultantthird party agencies and carrying out periodic HSE inspections, audits and submit reports Issuing non conformance reports and maintaining NCR logs for non-compliances and violations Ensuring that all injuries, accidents, incidentsnear misses, hazards are reported, recorded and investigated Ensuring employees are provided with proper PPE's tools and equipment, safety toolbox talks, safety induction programs, daily activity briefing etc Maintaining contact with external agencies like fire brigades, government hospitals, clinics, local governingproject authorities etc, facilitating emergency responses Ensuring distribution of all communication documents to personnel at site on health and safety plan Liaising with medical staff with respect to casualties incurred during accidents and health related issues.


    The successful candidate will hold an IndustrialConstruction Safety andor MechanicalCivil Engineering degree with 5 years experience in Construction Projects preferably related to sewage pumping stations, deep excavations Trenching, NDMs, pipe laying , dewatering etc. You must have Certification such as IOSH, NEBOSH, Auditing, First Aid and able to both work independently and as part of the team. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills in English, Arabic will be advantageous and you must hold a UAE Driving License.
