Senior Contracts Engineer

We have an opportunity with one of our reputed client in Dubai, UAE for the role of "Senior Contracts Engineer".

Experience Profile:

• Senior Contracts Engineer with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the handling the following commercial activities for high value and high complexity onshore EPC projects:
  • Independently manage the full sourcing process from strategy development and implementation up to award of contracts, including evaluating strategies, compiling bidders’ list, developing appropriate tender documents, issuing  of Invitation to Tender (ITT), analysis of tenders, commercial evaluation, contract negotiations and the preparation of contractual documentation in line with Company procedures and standards.
  • Liaise with the technical team to review, manage, and execute contract changes, variations and claims as part of post award contract administration.
  • Develop and execute post award contract performance management in conjunction with department managers and users.
  • Identify areas of improvement in contracts management and participate in regular meetings with vendors and users in order to keep track of all the processes and drive improvement.

• Extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of tenders/contracts of large-scale onshore EPC projects with complexity and diversity.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Law degree strongly preferred.
• Ideally with a post-graduate qualification in Contract Management or in a complementary area
