Summer Vacation Project
With the patronage of the Ministry of Education, the Summer Vacation Project is based at Wonderland, where kids can select from a range of activities including a visit to Bastakia's Sahary Gate cultural centre. “There are courses for swimming, art, karate and there is a big program for Lebanon,” says Ieman Ismael Abdullah Al Hashmi, who initiated the project. "There are two things we want - one is knowledge, one is fun," she says. The Summer Vacation Project runs until the end of August. It costs dhs300 for a child for each week and runs from 10am until 5pm.
