The following are general open hours for business; specific establishments may vary and work hours vary depending on the job in Qatar that is actually held. Business hours are from 8am to 7pm in general, Saturday through Thursday with prayer breaks taken throughout the day and a long lunch break. Friday is the weekly day off, but some offices may also close on Thursday or Saturday.
