Located on the campus of the University of St. Gallen (HSG), the SAP Research Center in St. Gallen focuses on application-oriented research on Internet technologies. Cloud computing is a high-priority strategic topic for SAP. In the 4CaaSt project (http://www.4caast.eu/), we investigate an advanced cloud-enabled service platform, which supports the optimized and elastic hosting of services and applications. 4CaaSt aims to simplify the development of rich cloud-based services and applications, and to enable a business ecosystem where services and applications coming from multiple providers can be seamlessly combined, customized, and traded.
As an Intern (f/m) you will be a full member of the 4CaaSt project team and support the development of one of its main components: an advanced marketplace that allows cloud service providers and service consumers to trade services using a business-oriented, web-based frontend.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for a highly motivated student (f/m) who enjoys working with the latest technologies in a fast-paced environment. Your main responsibilities will be to actively participate in the 4CaaSt project and support the design and implementation of the marketplace prototype. Supported and guided by our 4CaaSt team, you will gain both practical experience and theoretical knowledge.

The SAP BTS works in small, combined teams of clients, SAP Consulting experts and partner companies, mainly at the client site, on strategic projects:
* Analyze, evaluate, map and create plans to align business processes & IT architecture
* Optimize HR Business Processes and help customers to adapt Best Practice Processes from SAP BTS
* Implement HR Shared Services
* Design and execute Organizational Change Management activities for HR functions
* Identify HR improvements and evaluate the value
* Support projects involving alignment of multiple teams, including people from different regions and cultures
* Manage customer challenges and escalations in a proactive and structured manner
* Perform TCO and cost estimate analysis for large-scale IT and business process projects
* Support sales for BTS, including bid and proposal management
* Support SAP Global account teams and HCM license sale

Development Associate Consultant f/m Job - SAP

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Sustainability is a high-priority strategic topic for SAP and many customers. The Global Special Expertise Team in the Services Sustainability Hub are intended to foster new sustainability solutions as well as incubate new regions regarding sustainability. Their main objectives are to spread and leverage skills, enable the eco-system and drive goto-market of the s sustainability portfolio.

This position will extent the capacity for Product Safety and Stewardship (PSS) in the Global Expertise Team. Within that team the you will work on the rollout of our PSS solution "Global Label Management" into existing markets as well as new regions. In addition you will engage in customer projects as technical core/expert resource and foster the generation of reference customers.

Overall, the objective is to create a valuable, sustainable and specific solution for customers based on latest know-how and standard products.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Analyze business processes, strategic goals and map it into the Global Label Management solution.
* Review existing landscapes and align target IT landscapes to SAP and customer roadmaps.
* Manage client expectations regarding scope, work approach, & outcomes to ensure engagement success & reference ability.
* Support SAP implementation projects in various areas of Product Safety and Stewardship, most in the area of Global Label Management

Major tasks are:
* Solution Customizing
* Specification & development for customer specific requirements (coding of services, composites and interfaces)
* Support of planning and coordination of integration tests
* Enable partners and customers as as a technical core/expert resource
* Supports customer workshops

* Research and knowledge development regarding trends and topics in the labeling area
* Building of pre- defined services and consulting solutions
