The Role:

To provide the cardiopulmonary clinical services to the neonatal, pediatric and adult patients in accordance with the diagnostic objectives established by the attending Physicians, the Pulmonary Consultants, the Manager, Pulmonary Care, the Cardiopulmonary Medical Director and the AHD / CPD Respiratory Care clinical guidelines and policy procedures.

To competently deliver and perform a safe, and therapeutic respiratory care procedures as clinically indicated, as accurate and efficacious to the medical condition of the patient and by following the clinical guidelines and policy established by the department.

To provide a compassionate care, maintain patient advocacy, confidentiality and offer excellent customer service and professionalism.

Under general supervision, the Tender Officer communicates and coordinates information between the sales manager(s), division manager, engineer, procurement officer, and other personnel within the organization. 1. Responsible for daily tender operation activities and ensure that jobs are completed.
2. Establish and administer Sharepoint site (SPS) for each tender assigned to him / her, includes developing master folder and subfolder structure; upload request for proposal documents; grant appropriate category of access to each tender team member, etc.)
3. Read and comprehend Request for Proposal (RFP) from Customer and generate summary document defining all requirements in a concise and logical manner.
4. Assist in for providing clarification to customer with any item(s) that are unclear, ambiguous, or unusual.
5. Participate actively in divisional meeting.
6. Provide input into development of Tender budget and schedule.
7. Plan Tender format (i.e., hard / soft copies), production tasks, resources, and timing.
8. Provide information to Senior Manager - the potential problems in Tender development / production.
9. Provide mitigating options and costs and determine, in collaboration with Sales Managers, Procurement Officers, Engineers etc., the physical format for tender, including cover set, tabs, photos, etc. when consensus is achieved, send out for printing, etc.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a thorough assessment for company’s current status and outline future potential
• Review and take ownership of outlined business plan and model outlined by Board
• Develop and present to Board and stakeholders, a new comprehensive and applicable business plan for the organization depicting challenges, business potentials, resources needs, FF&E, P&L
• Develop and implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization in aligment with the goals and objectives of the Board
• Taking a lead role working with the selected Consulting Firm mandated by the Board to revue the company status and propose the new strategic directions
• Responsible for the implementation of approved business plan and strategic objectives
• Review, recommend to Board and implement best manufacturing processes reflecting cost reduction enhancement
• Implement best practice in planning, management reporting and governance processes
• Provide direction and leadership towards the achievement of the organization's philosophy, mission and strategy
• Build a complete a competent management team for the company
• Prepare and recommend annual budget for Board approval and prudently manage the organization's resources within the budget guidelines
• Develop new products based on thorough market research for local, regional and international markets needs in terms of medical devices manufacturing
• Identify/source new business channels and consolidate existing distribution channels (Agents, distributors, etc…)
• Responsible for maintaining a strong relationship relevant regulatory authorities, health ministry, as well as mitigating any previous hindrances from previous dealings
• Leverage existing experience of the company and strongly diversify client base in Qatar, GCC as well as in other countries
• Enhance relationships with existing Technical partners and source new partners for new products to be manufactured
• Make prudent bidding decisions in line with the organization’s strategy
• Finalization of procurement contracts and arrangement with subcontractors wherever required
• Oversee project implementation (with the assistance of a Project Manager)
• Establish and oversee banking relationships and arrange the required financing (with the assistance of a CFO)
• Relationship management with the major customers as well as major suppliers and others

• Maintain regular contact with major corporate clients in order to verify the level of satisfaction among themselves, in a direct way to take any new requirements and propose alternative solutions.
• Collect, both personally and through the organizational structure of the distributor, market information useful reference to define / re-align corporate strategies with regard to technical assistance.
• To develop, both personally and through the structure dependent, business technical assistance through the ongoing analysis of training needs of customers in order to make more effective the local organization.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities of the workshops are conducted in full compliance with government regulations, company guidelines, both local and corporate.
• Organize and / or supervise the technical training on equipment turned to the staff of the distributor, of the hospital ( if required), and possibly in line with market requirements (technical analysis of failures, management and use of spare parts, electrical safety).
