PURCHASE MANAGER Job - Mubarak Marine LLC

Responsibilities:

1. Keep up to date with the material requirements of the Company and the availability of quality material in the markets to meet the Company’s exact requirements
2. Managing the day to day performance and operational activity of the stores and transport staff
3. Develop and provide clear instructions to staff on procedures associated with stores and procurement
4. Work with the Technical Dept, Operations Dept and HSE Dept to predict supply requirements and plan for optimal stocks to be on hand
5. Work with the Technical Dept, Operations Dept and HSE Dept to procure ‘specials’ when required
6. Source, evaluate and control suppliers both overseas and local, capable of fulfilling the diverse needs of the Company on quality of material, delivery times and cost
7. Negotiate the best possible terms for the Company with all suppliers
8. Oversee complex orders and guide purchasers in their fulfillment as necessary
9. Conduct value analysis of purchases to ensure the Company benefits from the best terms available
10. Conduct evaluations of suppliers based on feedback and take action to remove or add them to the Company’s approved list of suppliers
11. Ensure stock taking is done regularly so as to optimize inventory and order items in good time
12. Ensure transport arrangements and logistics are done efficiently
13. Conduct spot checks as necessary to ensure purchasing guidelines are being followed
14. Keep the Accounts Dept up to date on payment requirements and spot verify that payments being made against purchases are accurate and timely
15. Contribute to Health, Safety and Environmental improvement within areas of control
16. Trains juniors as necessary in purchasing issues

About the Job:

We are looking for experienced Technician (in Marine) to work in our Dubai offices.
The key accountabilities of this role will include:

- Supporting the Mobile Service Manager in running the Al-Futtaim Marine Service Package's and also day to day service work.

- To be active in securing new business.

- Provide leadership on day-to-day operations of the service department, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals.

- To maintain and re-stock necessary tooling

- To ensure customer satisfaction at all times

- Maintain business relations with all customers of the Company. Use strategic planning to ensure the profitability of Al Futtaim Marine's Service products.

- Represent / Participate in promotional activities and trade shows.

- To be aware of the other Marine companies and always strive on improving our approach.
