Senior Manager Financial Services
KPMG

Leading the delivery of strategy and business plan projects in the Financial services sector, ensuring the quality of the engagements is of the highest possible standard. Managing the resources effectively, whilst at the same time developing client relationships to develop business for the function.
Rsponsibilities:
Strategy development
oLead business strategy studies and workshops for clients.
oProduction of articulate and commercially sound feasibility studies and business plans.
oArticulating the arguments supporting the results of the feasibility studies and business plans.
oUsing the results of research to formulate strong and meaningful business strategies.
oProducing business performance improvement strategies that aid the client in achieving their goals.
oProviding a solid quality assurance approach for all projects designated.
Financial Analysis
oAbility to review financial models/ statements in depth and provide analytical insight with regard to investment appraisal and financial forecasts
Guiding Research
oEnsuring the research is of the highest possible quality, value and relevance.
oLeading the provision of insightful & commercial analytical inputs for the project.
oEnsuring the projects are executed in line with KPMG engagement practices.
Report Preparation
oReviewing and assessing all reports, ensuring the outcomes stand up to the tight scrutiny and that the results are presented in the best possible way.
oTaking full responsibility for the final report and presentation.
oOwning and leading client meetings and presentations, ensuring the clients requirements are fulfilled and there expectations are managed well.
Other
oLeading multiple projects.
oManaging engagement teams, setting deliverables and evaluating performance.
oLeading business development activities within the designated clients.
oDeveloping and running strategy workshops.

Strategic Thinker in Financial services

Financial services consulting/ Advisory background

Research
oBroad and Indepth understanding of Financial services
oUnderstanding of Islamic finance (will be a plus)
oAppreciation of Financial service in the Middle East will be a plus
oHighly detail orientated and Extremely accurate.
oHighly capable of interpreting data.
oCapable of refining high volumes data into manageable information.
oAble to investigate and research designated subject matter.

Fianancial Modelling and Anaysis
oHigh degree of competency in preparing and reviewing financial model

Compétences

•MBA or qualified Chartered accountant
•7-9 or 10+ (for SM) Years relevant work experience.
•2-3 OR 5-6 (for SM)years management experience.
•Ideally post graduate degree.
•Strong Financial services sector expertise. Sector experience of at least 4-5 years (at Manager level) or (6-7 Years at Snr. Manager Level)
•Strong and demonstrated consulting skills background
•Strong experience of developing business plans and strategies.
•Strong market research capabilities.
•Experience of business improvement strategies.
•Proven track record of sales and Business development
•Proven record of leading High performance teams

Formation

• Graduate with a GPA of 3.0 / 4 or above, preferably in a business related degree.
