Due to rapid expansion, we require a number of highly skilled aviation professionals. We are currently looking for Baggage Services Officer.
Responsibilities Include:
•Manage, supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in baggage service activities.
•Issues instructions and assigns duties to Supervisors, Sr. BSA and BSA. Interviews, Evaluates and appraise staff according to their performance.
•Communicates with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work.
•Interprets and communicates work procedures and company policies to staff.
•Investigates and resolves complaints or escalated issues in regards to customer complaints.
•Oversees daily operations of the Line Service counter and baggage service staff being proficient at all the time.
•Supervises and coordinates departmental Staff Members in Baggage Services Activities Plans, prepares and devises work schedules according to budget and workloads
•Develops projected models for call/ claim/email volumes and determines staffing requirements for maximizing customer support.
•Observes, monitors, and evaluates employees’ performance to ensure quality of Customer Service.
•Manage and Lead front-line staff, by maintaining staff morale through motivation, and by synergizing a customer-focused environment, which reflects a service - oriented image of QAS and the Airline.
•Control and Discipline, the conduct of front-line staff, in order to ensure that the right image of the organization is projected to internal and external customers.
•Conduct regular briefing / coaching sessions with the front-line staff, in order to ensure that each staff member is updated on the applicable standards and procedures.
•Ensure the stationary stock is available for the next 24 hours prior to the shift and avoid wastage.
Compétences
Minimum Qualification:
•Minimum ‘A’-Level academic education or equivalent A level
Minimum Experience:
•2 years in a Duty officer level.
Job Specific Skills:
•Good communication skills.
•Ability to work fast, accurately and meet tight reporting deadlines.
•Proficiency in spoken and written English. Command over spoken Arabic preferable.
•Applies all the procedures and rules.
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle changing environments and priorities
• Ability to work with and support others as part of a team, both within and across functions.
•Understands the need to work together to create an environment of co-operation and mutual responsibilities.
•Maximize the available resources by constructing well-balanced teams, acknowledge and helps others value the contributions of each members.
•Listen & answer complains & questions of concerned staff
