JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for procuring products, equipment and services which includes medical and non-medical supplies on a daily basis for departments throughout CCAD.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Receives, enters and verifies price and delivery date for purchase
requisitions
- Establishes cooperative relationships with sales representatives and
distributors to successfully expedite orders
- Ensures that all purchase requisitions are authorized appropriately based
on CCAD’s purchasing policy
- Ensures that contracted items are utilized as appropriate and at correct rates
- Resolves invoice price discrepancies
- Contacts new sales representatives, distributors and/or companies to
purchase new supply items
- Receives, tracks and expedites all supply and equipment repairs
- Maintains appropriate records and documentation per department policy

Compétences

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum of two (2) years purchasing experience is required
- Strong human relation and customer service skills
- Proficient in the use of PCs, spreadsheets and other software applications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and write in English is required
- Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
- Health care industry experience is preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Purchasing, or related field,
is required
