-The Clinic Coordinator is responsible and accountable for organizing a series of clinics that fulfill the purpose of the hospital. The Coordinator may establish a committee for this purpose.

- The Coordinator submits a report to the Medical Director after each clinic. The Coordinator presents a complete report on clinic activities.

-For each potential clinic, prepare a clinic proposal for the Medical Director to review and approve.

-Survey patients about services of the clinic.

-Communicate regularly with clinician and insurance companies.

Compétences

-Clinical coordinators must demonstrate strong supervisory skill in establishing priorities, assigning and reviewing work and resolving issues in the clinic.

-Manage multiple patients, and demonstrate the ability to multitask and delegate to achieve desired end results for all associated parties.

-Clinical coordinators will also be required to demonstrate practical knowledge of the medical or service field.

- As the coordinator stay in communication with various members in the service or site setting, coordinators should also demonstrate good communication skills to identify issues and solicit cooperation and obtain support for programs.
