Select Auto is a part of Al Futtaim Automotive Group. This company will cater to the regional requirements of Nato Forces and their Prime Contractors for supply of heavy equipment,vehicles and their maintenance services. Select will be the single point of contact for customers of this profile and will operate as an internal customer for the other automotive group companies
About the Role:

The Customs Administrator ensures that critical Customs and clearance actions for supplies and equipment is fulfilled to the highest professional standards in accordance with UAE standards and procedures, and are aligned with Select Auto's business objectives.
The Main responsibilities of the role includes:

-Execute all Customs Clearance in a timely manner and in line with SA process and procedure, with direction and approvals (as per DOA) from Logistics Manager.
-Ensure compliance with all current and future Customs requirements including UAE and source / destination, immediately notifying relevant parties of any area of non-compliance or potential risk to the business.
-Maintain accurate customs clearance records, by maintaining a current and accurate log of all Customs clearance actions and activity.
-Support the Logistics Manager in identifying and communicating any changes to requirements in existing markets, or review of requirements in new markets, contributing to advice and feedback on required updates to existing policy and procedure(s).
-Support any other administration requirement within the wider Select Auto team as required, providing a professional level of service at all times.

Compétences

About the candidate:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: 

- Professional customs clearance administrator,  familiar with GCC / MENA region processes

- Fluent English (Spoken & Written)


Minimum Experience: 

- 5 - 6 years qualification experience in customs clearance / customs duty draw-back


Job-Specific Skills: 

- Exceptional customs skills and knowledge.

- Knowledgeable of customs clearance methodology / terminology.

- Effective communication (English - read, write, speak).

- Experienced in developing & maintaining customs clearance activity logs.

- Knowledge of Letters of Credit; Bank formalities, etc.

- Full / Clean UAE Driving License
