Hospitality Marketing Concepts (www.hmcloyalty.com) is the leading, global provider of loyalty solutions to upscale hotels worldwide. HMC provides a turnkey solution to hotel clients, from the initial concept and design, to IT deployment, management and ongoing marketing and customer service. HMC serves two high-end clients - premier hotels and the members who subscribe to the hotel loyalty programs. The objective of HMC’s loyalty solutions is to help hotels increase bottom-line profit, through the recruitment and retention of repeat customers and lowering the cost of business via direct e-commerce channels. HMC also offers a global alliance of hotel loyalty programs (Clubhotel and VOILÀ Hotel Rewards), further improving the hotel’s business opportunities through the network. HMC works with both independent hotels and hotel groups, including major brands such as Shangri-La, Mövenpick, Radisson Blu, InterContinental, and HiltonThis senior position, based in Dubai, is a hands on ‘direct sales’ role and not simply a management role of directing ‘traffic’. The Director of Business Development will be responsible for soliciting, evaluating, developing and executing partnerships which will require presenting to (full cycle selling from identifying targets, appointments, presentations, contracting) and negotiating with Senior Management, VP’s and sometimes CEO’s of hotels and hotel groups. It requires a collaborative management style, capable of building a positive working atmosphere throughout the organization. He/she will have responsibility for business development, account management, and overseeing the marketing and support teams that service hotel clients.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years sales and marketing experience at Experience in negotiating business partnerships and alliances
• Strong organizational and people skills
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing to all levels of management
• Ability to work in a very fast-faced environment, has high energy, and able to work with and implement change
• Results and deadline orientated
• Strong Management and time management skills
• Ability to multi task
• Understanding of financial concepts and basic P&L statements
• Strong inter-personal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be very self-motivated, and a “Hands-On” person with strong entrepreneurial spirit
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflict resolution abilities
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a savvy Internet user
• Professional and enthusiastic demeanor
