The Role:
The Distribution Operations Manager monitors and manages Distribution Centers. A Distribution Operations Manager also develops employees to achieve company targets and goals. He/She ensures that security, inventory management and safety standards are maintained
Compétences
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal contacts to ensure stock flow from Distribution Center whilst improving productivity and managing operating costs
- Project manage and implement new facilities
- Develop, motivate, appraise and train employees
- Plan all inventory activities, appraise all procedures for controlling shrinkage and take corrective action where necessary
- Ensure all housekeeping and health and safety standards are consistent with company policy
- Provide accurate reports and support to internal and external contacts
- Control all controllable costs and manage all budgets, making recommendations for costs structures for new budgets
- Ensure cost efficiency and service efficiency for all Distribution Center activity
