The Company

Qatar National Convention Centre now proudly opened for business, is operated for Qatar Foundation by AEG Ogden, one of the world’s leading venue management specialists, which also manages the Brisbane, Cairns and Darwin Convention Centres in Australia and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in Malaysia.

The Position

Come and join our dynamic, passionate and creative Food & Beverage team if you meet the following requirements and can demonstrate that you will make a difference in this fantastic, iconic venue.

You will be managing large scale events such as international conventions, exhibitions, gala dinners, and special events.

You will strategically plan and execute catered events for up to 6,000 or more guests, be able to adapt to service provision in both the convention and exhibition environments, from a gala dinner or conference catering delivery to a trade or public exhibition with extensive on-stand catering and cafe operations.

Compétences

The Person

You will hold minimum a Diploma in the Hospitality field, have minimum 5 years experience in a convention centre or a five star hospitality property, 3 of which in a managerial role.

You will have a sound background in training staff, developing department manuals and preferably the ability to communicate in both English and Arabic.

You will possess execellent communication and organisational skills, have the ability to lead and work as part of a team, be passionate and creative. You will also be a self motivated person, and flexible with the operational working hours.
