Our client is a leading home retail brand operating across the Middle East. They operate across the region with a large multicultural workforce, with innovative contemporary designs and many retail sales outlets.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated GENERAL/ SALES MANAGER to lead their growing team in Tunisia.


OVERVIEW OF ROLE

Translating the Vision & Mission of the company through managing, directing, and presenting accountability for different resources, aiming at achieving the stipulated short & long terms goals and objectives

Deploying high level planning, coordinating, and overseeing the activities related to all aspects of the Store/ Showroom


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overseeing all Direct Reports for periodic performance review and resolving any pending issue that requires the facilitation from top management
• Day to day running of the store and all departments within
• Maintaining an excellent reputation for the brand
• Upholding high standards of retail service levels
• Management of staff for quarterly performance review
• Communicating with strategic partners for exclusivity partnership purposes in addition to negotiating deals with prospect partners
• High level Communication with vendors to agree on long term deals/agreements
• High level communication with PR & Marketing to discuss the annual Marketing plan


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Should be used as a guide only and will reflect interview performance and experience levels
• As a guide, up to $1k - 2,000 USD per month/ $12 - 24k USD per annum package including base salary & accommodation provided
• In addition:
o Profit sharing scheme
o A Company Car
o Lunch Coupons for between U$ 5 - U$ 10 per day depending on position

Compétences

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• 5 - 10 years experience overall with a strong Retail background
• 2 years experience in a similar role
• International exposure outside of Tunisia very welcome
• Diploma in a Business or Management related program obtained from a reputable learning institute
• Ability to drive sales and meet targets whilst maintaining expenses within budget
• A valid Driver’s License
• A working knowledge of Navision ERP system
• Open to Tunisian nationals - Tunisian applicants who have gained experience in the GCC or, elsewhere and are now looking to return to Tunisia very welcome



KEY SKILLS

• Demonstrated delivery of effective customer-focused commercial retail solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing and speaking Arabic, French and English at a business level
• Adaptable, confident, strong personal determination and drive to achieve.
• Ability to coach and develop for succession planning.
• Maintain Brand Standards and become a Brand Ambassador, leading from the front.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster that includes weekends and evening shifts.
