    Infrastructure Technical Manager

    Al Foah - Al Ain, E.A.U.


    Description du poste

    Management
     Manage and set priorities for design, maintenance, development and evaluation of all infrastructure system including LANs, WANs, Internet, Security and wireless implementation to ensure that the system is working efficiently and aligned with strategies of Al Foah.
     Oversee and manage all subordinates, and work closely with top executives of Al Foah to suggest initiatives that may improve business infrastructure and report progress.
     Ensures that appropriate network employees are monitoring, analyzing and evaluating performance and working on resolution of identified degradation trends and problem areas (Performance Management).
     Ensures that support information transfer, storage, and processing are timely, efficient and meets the service levels required.
     Determine new, creative ways on projects and distribute responsibilities on subordinates to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy.
     Assess training needs and selects training tools for subordinates in order to enhance their expertise and knowledge level.

    Strategies
     Design and implement short and long term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
     Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with the IT Director to ensure it’s in line with the functional strategy.

    Internal System Plan
     Monitor and maintain complex networks, software and hardware to ensure no problems appear and can be easily diagnosed.
     Analyse existing operations and make recommendations to IT Director regarding improvement and growth of network infrastructure, phone system upgrades and any related IT systems to ensure the efficiency of the operation.
     Schedule and direct activities to resolve hardware & software problems in a timely and accurate manner.
     Plan, manage and develop upgrades to recognize if necessary network improvements are needed and make suggestions to IT Director.
     Ensure effective implementation of approved plans across Al Foah within set timelines to facilitate achievement of Al Foah objectives.

    Budgets & Plans
     Develop business case justifications and cost analyses for IT infrastructure spending and initiatives to ensure we don’t exceed budget.
     Develop the System Implementation Budget in line with IT strategy, seek approval and ensure all functional activities are carried out in compliance to the approved budget.

    Provider Service
     Receive and evaluate Systems proposals and provide recommendations in order to support accurate identification / acquisition of appropriate systems to suit Al Foah business requirements.
     Negotiate high priority business requirements / initiatives with service providers and ensure appropriate service level agreements are in place and monitor the performance to ensure service levels are in line with the set and agreed standards.

    Support Systems
     Manage the definition & development of the technical, functional and help desk procedures for IT infrastructure systems and provide supporting documentations to ensure the provision of an accurate infrastructure for effective maintenance of applications.
     Recognize areas for internal improvement and develop plans for implementation to compile and enforce standard of Al Foah policies and procedures
