Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (www.bfconsulting.com), a proactive and dynamic team with an excellent international profile, specializing in development finance, invites applications for Micro and SME finance / Risk Management Consultants.

Duration: long-term / short-term

Job responsibilities:
• Review the organizational structure, perform financial analysis of MFIs
• Lead the development and streamlining of effective SME lending procedures
• Conduct qualitative market assessment
• Design effective risk management procedures, create effective risk monitoring and credit administration practices
• Assist in credit structuring and product development, ensure strong portfolio management
• Provide advisory and training services in innovative SME lending technology and procedures, loans monitoring, credit and financial analysis, HR management
• Perform policy assessment and develop strategic plan for MFIs
• Develop credit scoring procedures
• Foster IT and MIS for efficient management of SME banking operations
• Develop and monitor microcredit processes
• Train staff and middle management with specific focus on microfinance/MSE lending
• Ensure successful delivery of the projects

Compétences

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, or related fields
• At least 5—7 years of relevant MENA regional experience in microfinance, SME lending operations and Risk Management
• Experience in Rural Development, Housing Finance and Deposit Mobilisation would be an asset
• Good knowledge of financial laws and regulations in MENA region
• Previous experience in working with MFIs and banks
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in international development finance projects
• Good communication and analytical skills, both spoken and written
• Strong command of English, knowledge of Arabic or French is an asset
