Proposal Development Coordinator

RTI International’s Governance and Stabilization Team is currently accepting applications for the position Program Development Coordinator (PDC). RTI manages international development projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, and others. The PDC will be responsible for a broad range of administrative, business development, and operational activities in support of the program.

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the PDC will work as a member of the Governance and Stabilization Team, and with individuals outside of the program, as appropriate, to further the program’s goals. This position will be based in RTI’s offices in either the Research Triangle Park, NC or in Washington, DC.

Compétences

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate through records, work products, and references:
• A bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience;
• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure;
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Knowledge of SharePoint and language skills preferred;
• Prior experience working or studying in developing countries, and experience working with donor-funded projects, particularly USAID, a plus; and
• Knowledge of governance and international development issues will be an asset.
• Working proficiency in a second language (Arabic, Spanish, or French or especially) prefered
