    Receptionist (UAE National)

    Description du poste

    The Receptionist provides the first point of contact to visitors to TECOM business units, and is required to provide efficient and courteous reception services accordingly.

    • Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all systems and procedures used at the Reception Desk.
    • Be fully aware of day’s events or activities in all TECOM business units.
    • Be fully aware of the facilities and services provided by KV/DIC/DMC to ensure correct channeling of request.
    • Responsible for In coming and Out going courier mails and ensure correct delivery.
    - In charge of Daily Mail log Sheet (Regular Mails and Packages)
    - In charge of Daily Courier log Sheet ( Out going Carrier )
    - In Charge of the Monthly Courier log Sheet ( Courier monthly invoice)
    • Coordinate with Messenger with regards to collection/delivery of mail and ensure prompt delivery of incoming mail.
    • Inform Partners with regards to arrival of mail and ensure promptness.
    • Welcome guests/visitors and escort them to the Lobby Lounge for appointments (DIC
    • main reception).
    • Log visitors in/out of premises/buildings and distribute visitor’s pass/batch.
    • Action Partners requests promptly.
    • Forward Hospitality request to Hospitality Coordinators i.e. hotel reservation, car hire, etc.
    • Keep Coordinators/Manager informed of any important issues/occurrences in TECOM premises.
    • Be fully aware of facilities and services provided by DIC/DMC/KV and promote them accordingly.
    • Inform visitors of new companies contact details if required.
    • Coordinate with Sales for potential business leads/prospects from walk-ins.
    • Coordinate taxi requests on behalf of Partners or guests.
    • Responsible on checking meeting rooms and Meeting room equipments i.e. Projector, plasma screen and coordinate accordingly with FM or IT support if assigned responsibility in the absence of senior host or Coordinator.
    • Coordinate bookings for small meeting rooms for TECOM Staff.
    • Provide back up support to the Host /Hostess as and when required.
    • Be fully aware of all VIP/Delegation coming to DIC and be prepared accordingly for any VIP guest.
    • Responsible for selling DIC Directory to visitors.
    • Supervise all Lobby and Public areas, and ensure that all Clients / Partners receive the required attention and service.
    • Basic Awareness in Quality
    • Possess a basic awareness of quality; should attend the basic ISO awareness sessions. Familiar with Quality Operating Procedures and Quality Work Instructions relevant to their department and have an awareness of their Quality Objectives.

    1-2 years in a customer interfacing position, preferably in a hotel.
