    An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an established multi-national group, as GM of HR of their Yemen operations.The Regional GM of HR, Yemen has 4 primary responsibilities-To operate as the Senior Level HR Operational Lead for all of the HR Staff in Yemen, Business Unit HR (HRBP) staff, and Business Unit HR Generalists (HRG) and HR Specialists within Yemen.-To provide HR Operational services to all Company managers and employees in Yemen.-To provide a Country Level Yemen Employee Services Centre, and limited HR Specialist Services and functions, for all Company managers and employees in Yemen.-To standardize the Yemen HR policies, procedures and processes for all the Companies in Yemen.Specific areas of responsibility are to-Ensure that the Country Level Yemen HR Plan, the Yemen Company HR Plans, and the Yemen Business Strategies are aligned, and linked to the Group Strategic Plan, the Corporate HR Strategic Road Map and Plan, and the Company Annual Operating Plan.-Consult with the Corporate HR Centres of Excellence on local Yemen policies and practices.-Drive implementation of appropriate Yemen Employee Service Centre, and Corporate HR Centers of Excellence strategies, initiatives, services and plans in Yemen deploying HRBPs and HRGs across the Yemen BUs andor functions to maximize efficiency and productivity.-Lead the standardization of HR processes, practices and systems across all of the Yemen Companies, in alignment with Group HR Processes, Policies and Procedures.-Lead the development and implementation of appropriate service level agreements between Yemen HR Operations and the Yemen BUs.-Monitor Yemen HR performance against agreed metrics and take appropriate action as required.-To provide support and guidance on the delivery of effective employee relations and development practices across Yemen.-Monitor and control HR costs against agreed budgets.-Act as a Change Agent for the HR function.-Build the capability of the Yemen HR team and ensure succession planning, career management and development of high performing HR staff.-Deploy effective Yemen Employee communication strategies.h At times, act as Lead HRBP within Yemen.

    Compétences

    You will be degree qualified HR Professional, with at least 8 years relevant experience, the last 3 of which will have been in a leadership capacity, based in Yemen. You must be willing to travel around the region as needed, although you will be principally based in Yemen. Due to local needs, only applicants whom are native Arabic speakers, will be considered for this role.Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and background
