- Ensure strict compliance with Company and Client HSE regulations.
- Ensure HSE procedures and programs are implemented effectively.
- Conduct daily safety inspection of job sites to ensure strict compliance all Company and Client HSE procedures, regulations, and requirements.
- Submit safety inspection reports as directed.
- Monitor work permit system, check work in progress, and track the proper filling and closing of work permits.
- Conduct safety induction, awareness, training, and toolbox talks.
- Impart on-site safety advice to workers.
- Report accidents, near-misses, violations, and other HSE non-conformities to Safety Engineer on daily basis.
- Periodically inspect PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, and other HSE equipment and facilities to ensure their adequacy and functionality and track their maintenance and calibration.
- Ensure the availability of work permits, JSA’s, MSDS’s, scaffolding tags, 3rd-party inspection certificates, and other necessary documents before work is commenced.
- Ensure good housekeeping throughout the shift, including proper waste management.
- Assist in the Investigation of accidents, near-misses, and complaints.
- Take a proactive role in enhancing HSE performance through identifying and reporting areas for improvement.

Compétences

All of the following:
1. Diploma in Engineering (preferably Mechanical) from a recognized institute OR Bachelor’s of Science Degree from a recognized university.
2. Diploma in Industrial Safety.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry (preferably in Gulf area).
4. Competence in the safety requirements of scaffolding, painting, abrasive blasting, confined space entry, and related maintenance activities.
5. Excellent English communication skills (oral and written).
