The Security Specialist will be performing the below functions:

1. Should have thorough knowledge of information security principles and practices.
2. Should have real time working experience with Security Devices and Tools such as Firewall, intrusion detection systems, VPN, Vulnerability assessment tools, Penetration testing.
3. Must have experience in Installation, configuration, monitoring and response to security system
4. Should have knowledge of advanced security protocols and standards
5. Experience with software and security architectures
6. Evaluate and develop approach to solutions
7. Proactively assesses potential items of risk and opportunities of vulnerability in the network
8. Support day-to-day administration of various Security devices
9. Requirements for Information Security Job Position
10. Provide higher technical support to NOC and other operations teams with regards to IP/MPLS infrastructure and escalate to vendors the major issues.
11. Execute configuration changes and software issues fixes.
12. Perform the handover acceptance for new implementation.
13. Proactively perform corrective maintenance for network.
14. Contact vendors for support and faulty equipment replacement.
15. Review network design, highlight issues and recommend for fixes.
16. Produce periodic reports about the network activities, network performance and capacity.
17. Analyses of complex network issues and recommend for solution
18. Supervise the tasks related to planned activities in the network.
19. Execute the plans of preventive maintenance tasks.

Compétences

Skills:-
1. Bachelors' degree in Computer /communication engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum five (5) years of experience in network field.
3. Ability to maintain a large network with complex network technology.
4. Excellent TCP/ IP networking skills.
5. Strong understanding of networks.
6. Experience with MPLS technology including L2/L3 VPN and traffic engineering.
7. Excellent skills in Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches.
8. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
9. Excellent communication skills.

Personal Skills:-
Must have strong communication skill both verbal & oral and selfstarter, motivated and team player.

Languages(s):-
Should be fluent in English. Arabic is an added advantage.
