We’re seeking a Principal or Lead Java Engineer who has developed highly scalable and high traffic web applications, can interact with business and technology teams to understand requirements, and design and implement architectural solutions to meet the business needs. Core responsibility is for the design and development of architectural and application modules for our Software solutions. As appropriate work with and lead onsite and offshore development teams. Looking for engineers who are comfortable thinking about the product as a whole, and how changes are going to impact the users.

Compétences

Required Qualifications:

7-10 years of Object-Oriented programming, strong JAVA and Web application development experience.
Expertise with ORM, Server-side development, web servers, application servers and Database systems with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns and methodologies.
Candidate must have strong architectural, design, and development skills with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
UI experience including any of these languages/tools/libraries is strongly desired: Javascript, CSS, AJAX, HTML, DHTML, EXT JS & JQuery.
Solid understanding of SQL skills, preferably with Oracle database, along with XML, HTTP, SOAP, REST, and Web Services.
Experience working with and understanding workflow driven systems is desirable
Understanding of major ERP suites (SAP/ Oracle) or master data management / supply chains software is desirable
Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and meet tight deadlines.
Experience in seeking, evaluating and integrating with Open Source software solutions is highly desirable.
Bachelors degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
