IDC is constantly expanding its global business in the Middle East & Africa region due to which we are looking for Senior Market Research Analyst - IT Services and SW Applications to join our team in Casablanca. The position will serve Middle East and Africa operations as well as support the regional goals and business strategy in the Middle East and Africa.

Reporting to the Regional Program Leaders this role supports IDC’s rapidly growing business in all areas of IT.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct primary and secondary research and data collection in IT Services and SW Applications area of ICT market;
- Analyze business and market trends;
- Work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools;
- Prepare thorough and well-organized reports;
- Contribute to consulting engagements and play a support role in business development.

Compétences

- Previous experience as Analyst or in Analytical position with an IT vendor;
- Relevant work experience in IT industry (as product manager, channel operations etc.) is strongly preferred;
- Experience of working with databases, large data cuts and sheets is a plus;
- Market research or industry-specific knowledge is a strong plus;
- University degree or equivalent;
- Fluent English and native Arabic.

Candidate has to be able to demonstrate:
- Understanding of the ICT industry in general;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
- Excellent writing and presentation skills;
- Solid phone and face-to-face interview skills;
- Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office software packages.
