Prince Sultan Advanced Technologies Research Institute (PSATRI) at King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a leading R&D center working on cutting-edge technologies. We are looking for an experienced software developer to combine innovative thinking, high quality design, and excellent engineering skills to join our team at the Autonomous Vehicles Lab (AVL) to support the continuing development of our unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) program.
Responsibilities:
• Develop UAV mission control GUI software.
• Design and implement innovative methods for user-interaction with the UAV’s various components and payloads.
• Develop methods and requirements to enhance the user interface and efficiency of UAV Control Software.
• Be responsible for maintaining and improving existing software components.
• Plan and execute comprehensive software testing.
• Participate in the development of the overall UAV specifications and requirements.
• Work closely with other software and hardware developers to meet the target goals.
Compétences
• BSc or MSc in Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years programming experience in related fields.
• Working experience in object-oriented programming in C#
• Experience with GIS is beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Highly proficient in English language, including English technical writing
• Command of spoken Arabic language is beneficial, but not mandatory .
