Training Engineer

• Design, develop and deliver courses related to combined cycle power plant for technical trainees.
• Responsible for designing technology related course curriculum, practical sessions and certification.
• Design individual training programs and follow up on achievement of results.
• Demonstrates strong presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent judgment in applying training technologies appropriately based on needs of staff and content of course.
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
• Provide leadership, guide & develop engineers in Operations and Maintenance.
• Monitor and facilitate training & development of operation graduate Engineer Trainees.
• Well conversant with plant operations, safety procedures, electrical systems and water chemistry.
• Capable of delivering technical trainings (Gas turbine power plant operations) to graduate Engineer Trainees.
• Prepare/coordinate technical/non-technical presentations for plants ensuring the timely communication of significant developments.
• Aware of PQR (position, qualification, minimum requirement) based /OJT based training.
• Experience in team building, troubleshooting and conflict management exercises.
• Familiar with training gap analysis.
• Travel to four plants locations regularly to support training activities.
• Single point contact for all external technical trainings.
• Experience in a matrix leadership environment, working directly with plant teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Effective team contributor and member.
• Self-directed, highly motivated, creative and highly energetic.

Compétences

Experience : 6 to 8 Years’ experience in combined cycle Power Plant operations of which at least 3 are in training of graduate Engineer Trainees.

• Experience in operations of combined cycle power plant, Mark VI & DCS.
• Training & developing of operation engineers (fresh graduates).

Bachelor’s degree Mech. / Elec. / C&I/Process
