Wood Sales & Designer

* Provide technical and professional services and solutions to the projects' enquiries and needs using the engineering background.

This division has grown year on year with 115 units in 2012 and new brands for 2013 such as Katsuya and Café CoCo.

The Role:

Working with the Quality Assurance team you will be responsible for assisting the department in achieving their objectives and company goals in a timely efficient manner.

Within this role you will need to:
* Maintain consistent communication with KSA and UAE teams.
* Perform under pressure and multi-task your workload to meet deadlines.
* Communicate effectively and professionally with employees, board members, and the public.
* Prepare the agenda for departmental meetings.
* Arrange and follow up with employee travel arrangement.
* Gather information and prepare PowerPoint presentations when required for meetings.

Job Responsibilities:
• To review the tender drawings, BOQ and other proposal documents received from the main contactor/consultants.
• To study and prepare project specific material take off worksheet.
• To study and prepare project specific spreadsheets for bill of quantities.
• Shall assist management on obtaining and analyzing scope of work and pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
• To liaise with other departments such as procurement for material availability and cost, design for systems requirements and amount of work involved, HR/Admin for labour and overhead costing, etc for preparation and finalization of tenders or quotation.

Key Performance Indicators:
• Ensuring proper &error free estimation & preparation of tender documents
• Ability to assume responsibility and to interface and communicate effectively with others, have strong interpersonal skills and be self motivated.
• Shows pro activeness, managing & intuitiveness in work
• Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.
