Dubai, UAE, April 25, 2007: Bayt.com, the #1 job site in the Middle East, has been awarded a gold medal at the prestigious Pan Arab Web Awards. The awards, which are held annually in association with Dubai Internet City, Microsoft, BSA and MSN Arabia, recognise excellence in web design and development skills.
Bayt.com walked away with a special award for the “Leading E-Commerce Website in the Pan Arab Region.” The award was presented at a ceremony held at Burj Al Arab hotel on April 19th.
“It is a great honour for us to have been awarded in this category,” said Rabea Ataya, CEO, Bayt.com. “It’s extremely important for a site like ours to feature a fast and efficient design. This award reaffirms our ability to communicate with jobseekers and employers through a cutting edge, user friendly and effective website.”
