Receptionist (UAE National) Job

The Receptionist provides the first point of contact to visitors to TECOM business units, and is required to provide efficient and courteous reception services accordingly.

• Be thoroughly knowledgeable of all systems and procedures used at the Reception Desk.
• Be fully aware of day’s events or activities in all TECOM business units.
• Be fully aware of the facilities and services provided by KV/DIC/DMC to ensure correct channeling of request.
• Responsible for In coming and Out going courier mails and ensure correct delivery.
- In charge of Daily Mail log Sheet (Regular Mails and Packages)
- In charge of Daily Courier log Sheet ( Out going Carrier )
- In Charge of the Monthly Courier log Sheet ( Courier monthly invoice)
• Coordinate with Messenger with regards to collection/delivery of mail and ensure prompt delivery of incoming mail.
• Inform Partners with regards to arrival of mail and ensure promptness.
• Welcome guests/visitors and escort them to the Lobby Lounge for appointments (DIC
• main reception).
• Log visitors in/out of premises/buildings and distribute visitor’s pass/batch.
• Action Partners requests promptly.
• Forward Hospitality request to Hospitality Coordinators i.e. hotel reservation, car hire, etc.
• Keep Coordinators/Manager informed of any important issues/occurrences in TECOM premises.
• Be fully aware of facilities and services provided by DIC/DMC/KV and promote them accordingly.
• Inform visitors of new companies contact details if required.
• Coordinate with Sales for potential business leads/prospects from walk-ins.
• Coordinate taxi requests on behalf of Partners or guests.
• Responsible on checking meeting rooms and Meeting room equipments i.e. Projector, plasma screen and coordinate accordingly with FM or IT support if assigned responsibility in the absence of senior host or Coordinator.
• Coordinate bookings for small meeting rooms for TECOM Staff.
• Provide back up support to the Host /Hostess as and when required.
• Be fully aware of all VIP/Delegation coming to DIC and be prepared accordingly for any VIP guest.
• Responsible for selling DIC Directory to visitors.
• Supervise all Lobby and Public areas, and ensure that all Clients / Partners receive the required attention and service.
• Basic Awareness in Quality
• Possess a basic awareness of quality; should attend the basic ISO awareness sessions. Familiar with Quality Operating Procedures and Quality Work Instructions relevant to their department and have an awareness of their Quality Objectives.

The Position:

The Position:

Centralised Refunds:
Manage and control the process of refund processing (including computation and payment) for the entire emirates network which includes online sales, call centres, area offices, staff travel and dnata.
• Monitor the process of refund computation and payments to ensure that refund computation is accurate and processed according to relevant agreed service level agreement. This involves providing appropriate guidance to the team and effectively allocating the workload across all team members.
• Manage the handling of refund related queries originating directly from the customer or EK dnata offices/call centres within agreed service level commitments.

The Position:
A challenging opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to plan, manage and implement controls and processes necessary to manage the Direct Operating Costs (DOC) unit.

The focus areas comprise of analysing the risks, identifying solutions to mitigate risk, financial reporting in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), service delivery to internal and external customers, managing key processes /systems and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and drive down unit costs.

Job Outline:
• Conceptualise, design and implement a cost effective and efficient processing infrastructure to handle exceptionally large volumes of data, within the corporate policy framework.
• Identify and analyse areas of risk in the different business / DOC cost areas by a process of discussion thus influencing and supporting the implementation of risk mitigation measured by key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance of Group policies and procedures by escalating any deviations to senior management observed from the agreed procedures that denote loss of control and warrant immediate remedial action, Follow up on actions taken until the control is re-established.
• Analyse and resolve problem areas which lead to obstacles in meeting internal and external customer service delivery standards to ensure resolution according to standards set and established with business.
• Responsible for the periodic evaluation and implementation of DOC system improvements, by recommending software developments and requirements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness while ensuring that the data quality is maintained.
• Conceptualise and present appropriate levels of MIS reports and make presentations for the departments/ business supported to communicate trends on exceptions.
• Support the different audit process (Statutory, ICD) by generating the necessary audit schedules and reconciliations. Resolve any queries put forth by the auditors to smoothen the process. This will entail amending procedures if necessary.
• Drive the accrual and reconciliation standards of the direct operating costs (DOC) by specifying the disciplines to be followed, ensuring the high quality in financial reporting is maintained. Find solutions to complex issues identifying the most appropriate process to follow to achieve the objectives.

Manage the processing of the monthly payroll for the entire organization in line with the policies and established procedures to ensure the accurate and timely processing of Payroll.

Oversee and ensure all transactions i.e. Incentives, Leaves, and End of service benefits are accurately calculated, audited and costed within the General ledger and ensure deductions are actioned and appropriate payments are made to all employees accurately and timely.

Verify and ensure accurate processing of the pension Scheme to ensure timely payment of pension to all pensionaries as per the company policy and procedures.
Work closely with the section Head in the preparation, consolidation and obtaining the approval of Annual HR Budget in close coordination with the Finance department,Management members and other stakeholders to ensure reflection of manpower plans and costs for the budget exercises.

Establish and maintain an updated central database of manpower details to be shared with HR sections to ensure tracking of manpower plans costs as per the plan and budget.

AccountabilitiesIn association with the Communications Manager - Middle East, develop print and marketing communications material to support the ME communications strategy1. Advertising (Print online outdoor)a. Accountable for designing artwork and submiting press ready files for submission. 2. Marketing collateral, reports and presentationsa. Design andor format marketing material including regional local product brochures, direct mailers, presentations, reports, electronic mail shots etc, in strict adherence to the company's design guide. 3. Events a. Design and administrative support for events and exhibitions - production of exhibition stands and other such requirements. 4. Internal Communicationsa. Coordinatefollow up with regional offices for information or feedback pertaining to projects. b. Ensure that all external marketing communications material meets Group Compliance approval before it is published or distributed. c. Work together with the Communications Manager to develop monthly Middle East e-newsletter. d. Liase with corporate communications team to ensure that any new marcom material developed for the region is uploaded to the intranet. e. Distribute newsletter, press-releases, news and e-shots to the region. 5. Public Relationsa. Ensure that the appointed agencies translate, distribute press-releases as per the pre-determined scheduled and that monthly media clipping are received within the first week of the month. 6. Administrationa. Provide effective administrative support to the Communications Manager. b. Database management maintenance, including ensuring that job cards (log), media archives, distribution lists, personnel and office details listed are updated. c. Screen calls, media enquiriesrequests and handle when appropriate. d. Organise and maintain schedules, appointments and meetings. e. Attend meetings, record minutes when required and track progress of meeting action points - ensuring completion. f. Reconcile monthly expenses. g. Ensure that media marketing invoices are submitted to the relevant offices. h. Assist with email management, preparation of documents, travel arrangements and conference bookings as and when required. 7. Othersa. Assist with ad-hoc design, marketing or communications projects that may be allocated from time-to-time. b. Responsible for adhering to company-wide adoption of the highest standards of business ethics. c. Responsible for upholding company's Corporate values and promoting company's Spirit.

Product Manager, IP Job - Manpower Middle East

A hugely successful, international provider of mobile satellite communications and solutions have an opening for a Product Manager, IP . You will be reporting directly to the Director, Product Management Job Purpose:Responsible for the product management of company's IP product life cycle focusing on the stages launch, market management and exit. Ensure hands-on performance management and in time identification of product under performance with the immediate implementation of corrective action as well as identification of innovative improvements in the same area. Management of Product Life cycle Monitor commercial performance of company's IP product in accordance with company's targets and indicate variations from the business plan. Monitor quality of service of existing company's IP product from SP's and customer's perspective e.g. customer care, IT, network operations and external partners. Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of company's IP product business processes throughout the company and its interfaces to external partners. Monitor competitive advantage of existing company's IP product e.g. conduct regular test samples on competitor's products, track competitor's media activity, make test calls to competitor's customer service and evaluate benchmarks of other satellite and cellular operators. Deduce and recommend innovations, enhancements, corrective actions (in terms of both prevention and troubleshooting) or exit measures throughout the company's a IP product business processes within the company and external partners. Develop jointly with other departments suggestions for promotions, communication measures to improve performance of company's IP product. Promote and monitor approved corrective actions (in terms of both prevention and troubleshooting) or exit measures to be taken at operational level. Provide support to project managers of product innovations and enhancements during technical and commercial implementation to ensure a proper and timely launch and effective handover to product management. Information Collection Tasks Require necessary reports on the commercial performance of company's IP product in terms of KPI's from Data Warehouse, Billing, Finance, Market Analysis or other information processing departments. Require necessary reports or information of on functional performance and quality of service of existing company's IP product (e.g. customer care and help desk, SP reports, call completion reports, outage reports). Communicate regularly with marketing sales department on performance of company's IP product in the market. Accompany marketing sales department on visits to SP or customer premises on a case-by-case basis. Communicate regularly with other product managers with regards to e.g. potential synergies, bundling offers, joint promotions. Require market research (primary and secondary research on customers and competitors) to get insight into the performance of existing company's IP product on a case by case basis. Information Delivery Tasks Report weekly to the Head of Product Management on KPI's. Report weekly to the Head of Product Management on the progression of corrective actions and product enhancement projects. Develop concepts (including business plan) and presentations, serving as decision support for company's IP product enhancement alternatives at different levels of company's management. Develop and adapt company's IP product descriptions for the briefing to Marketing Communications, Marketing, Distribution, Finance, Legal, to commercially support the running and launch of the new Product or respective enhancements Participation and Supporting Tasks Participate in the budgetary forecast planning of company's IP product in the department.
