KEY DUTIES:

* Ensures implementation of and compliance in the area of Project Services guidelines and procedures
* Advises Director Engineering and Projects on project portfolio status
* Responsible for managing (monitor and control) project cost & schedule controls
* Resource planning for Project Services and their optimal utilization
* Ensures compliance with Project Execution Plan and Change Management procedures. Highlights any deviations to aforesaid procedures
* Reviews, monitors and comments on contractor’s schedules, resource plans, progress reports and claims
* Monitors Contractors’ deliverables
* Coordinates and conducts cost/schedule risk analysis workshops, maintains project risk management and follow-ups (actions)
* Advises and support Project Managers in developing tender documents related to Project Controls, Project Execution Plans and Project Schedules. Participates in tender evaluations as required
* Responsible to develop project controls resources
* Responsible for pre- and post contract award activities, including verification of invoices, processing allocation of costs, payments and claims and assessing change order costs for agreement
* Responsible for project document controlling

PLANNING & FORECASTING DUTIES:

* Develop resource-loaded and routinely updated Project Schedules based on maturity of the project
* Analyzes variations (e.g. schedule, cost) and recommends appropriate measures to Project managers
* Develops and maintains the current forecast, cost plan/ expenditure plan

TEAM MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

* Delivers and leads the Project Services Team deliver results in terms of Planning and Contracts Management and Cost control & reporting
* Establishes & maintains close liaison with other project team members and departments to successfully complete project controls deliverables

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Under broad direction supervises and oversees the installation/pulling of (complex) ESP Systems, and associated equipment in offshore and onshore locations.

Acts as on site Centrilift representative for communication with customers and account managers. Completes all job documentation.

Sets up and starts Centrilift Motor Controllers and VSD’s. Electrically competent personnel may be required to commission and maintain various types of surface control equipment.
Provides on-the-job training to team members.
