PCS Engineer

Bayt.com | Jobs in Qatar - Location: Qatar, Bahrain & UAE Summary: • Assisting the Project Manager to Monitor and Control the project technically and contractually. • Works Hand in hand with Cost and Document Controllers to ensure that project records and logs are being accurately updated and maintained in accordance with effective organizational methods and appropriate indexing standards. Operational Duties and & Responsibilities: • Abides by company by-laws including policies and procedures and propose changes to the above when necessary. • Abides by the authorities granted to the position as per the delegation of authority structure and any formal changes thereto. • Review Contractor time schedule depending on Contract, specifications and drawings. • Review the daily report with the Project Manager to update the Project Master and Detailed schedule. • Review Contractor, Consultant & Project Manager payments to ensure that all invoices provide an accurate reflection of services rendered with the appropriate authorization procedures being applied. • Prepare the meeting minutes for all project team meetings. • Attend weekly meetings on site to ensure that all the project schedules are being adhered too, and discussing amendments as necessary. • Prepare the Monthly progress report highlighting concerns and any delays in the project schedule along with recommendations on rectifying action to be taken. • Prepare the S-curve for projects and update it on a monthly basis taking into account delays and feedback from Contractors and Consultants. • Prepares all logs (Material, Shop drawings & Procurement) for a variety of projects. • Reviews the cost loading schedule for projects as assigned. • Reviews the Contractor pre-meeting submittals log. • Reviews the Contractor Monthly Report and provide the additional comments to the Project Manager • Assists in reviewing Tender documents during the design phase of the project. • Oversees Contractual attendance

Materials Engineer

Bayt.com | Jobs in Qatar - Location: Qatar, Bahrain & UAE Job Responsibilities: • Review and approve method statements. • Attend site progress meetings, organize and monitor site/laboratory materials inspections, tests and audits. • Study and check materials submittals/program and processes approvals. • Supervise, review, monitor and report on materials related construction activities. • Establish a database of approved materials produced. • Propose changes to the materials specifications. • Extensive knowledge of Materials specifications & International Standards. • Perform other related duties as assigned Education & Experience: Bachelor degree holder min 10 - 12 Years of similar experience.
