Department Description: The MENA Engineering Team within Motorola Solutions is responsible for pro-actively understanding the customer’s communications needs,

Scope of Engagement - entire systems life cycle
Responsibilities/Expectations: This individual must be a dynamic leader and have working experience in Systems Engineering and Field Engineering with specific knowledge of Trunked Radio Networks. The ideal candidate also needs an in depth understanding of the processes involved in the design, integration, implementation and support of Radio Networks, both from a System Engineering and Field Engineering perspective.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
Lead a team of Field and System Engineers in the delivery of all phases of the system lifecycle including Pre-Sale Support, Site Surveys, System Ordering, Design Change Management, delivery of Sold Services and finally Implementation and Support of the infrastructure and subscribers.
Provide the above engineering solutions, managing scope, budget and schedule.
Ability to provide work supervision and subcontractor management.
Directly support the local field team in the execution of support requests as well as being an escalation point for critical issues.
Interfacing with the various product and support teams.
Support the CSM with Customer Issue Resolution.
Supporting user training to customers and distributors.
Interfacing with engineering during initial system design.
Document systems as installed or modified via “As Built Drawings”.
Field support of Product Group issues.
Service sales support.
Knowledge Skills: EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 5 years field experience in Designing Supporting, Installing and Commissioning of Radio Networks.
Previous team leadership will be an advantage.
Experience with Motorola products and their support structures.
Experience in radio trunking both analog and digital including TETRA and ASTRO would be an advantage
In-depth understanding of integration and 3rd party solutions.
In-depth understanding of Motorola Service offerings.
Experience in public safety communication systems.
Significant experience in electronics and RF communications.
LAN and WAN troubleshooting experience.
Experience in troubleshooting RF cables, connectors and antennas.

Coordinates obtaining foreign visas for employees travelling on business trips.
Liaises with the appropriate authorities to obtain, renew, change, or cancel in part or full the activities on the trade license and company registration.
Submits business visa applications to various embassies based in Dubai and/or Saudi Arabia.
Keeps abreast of changes in local laws and ensures compliance with these laws.
Completes special projects regarding various issues as needed.
Promotes effective work practices, works as a team member, and shows respect for co-workers.
As a Government Relations Coordinator, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude.
