Job Description

• Lead the design of a production management strategy

• Review, validate and monitor the strategic and commercial plan for production management

• Setting goals and validating production management performance

• Support production department work objectives by providing input and direction

• Supervise and facilitate the achievement of production management strategy, objectives and KPIs • Supervise the budget preparation cycle of production management and lead the budget preparation process

• Effectively direct overall operations within budget, and accurately report on progress and challenges to relevant senior management

• Formulate strategies that lead to positive financial impact for the production business unit and mitigate financial and operational risks

• Prepare, present and justify budget improvement requests to relevant senior management

• Ensure scheduled and ad hoc maintenance is performed in line with the production schedule to minimize disruption to the production process

• Review and approve service provider contracts for production facilities

• Ensure that quality control measures are in place and implemented periodically

• Provide insights and guidance on production capacity in alignment with the team

• Work closely with the product department and marketing teams to ensure production capacity aligns with overall product profile and schedule

• Oversee the responsible use of resources and control expenditures to meet budgetary controls

• Supervising and ensuring the readiness of the work team by training them on safety and quality instructions

•Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback

• Approve correct products or reject products in case of defect

•Supervising the setting of requirements for raw materials or products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance

•Checking and supervising the final outputs and comparing quality with requirements

•Supervising the implementation of inspection, testing and evaluation methods for products and production equipment

•Manage and track products during the manufacturing process to ensure the correctness of every part of the process

• Oversee the conduct of detailed and recorded inspections of finished products so that products conform to industry and company standards • Direct the development and implementation of production management policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls, ensuring that all relevant procedural/legal requirements are met while delivering high quality, cost-effective results

• Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by adapting to changes in international standards and changes in the business environment and adopting leading practices within production management.

• Oversee the resolution of escalated cases of non-compliance and reduce non-compliance by ensuring the availability and enhancement of stipulated policies and procedures • Establish a culture of development, direction and performance within the production business unit

• Lead, direct and evaluate direct reports of the business unit

• Providing development opportunities for the team and ensuring that career paths and succession plans are planned, reviewed and updated

• Identify and recruit key senior talent for the production business unit

• Set and communicate clear performance expectations, coach and provide regular support and feedback to direct reports on performance

• Act as a role model and champion the application of corporate values ​​within the production business unit

Skills

• At least 15 years of relevant experience

• • 5 years’ experience in a management role Bachelor’s degree in Production/Engineering or related field
