Hotel General Manager

A luxury hotel in Albania is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Hotel General Manager to oversee the operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in hotel management, with a strong track record of success in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Hotel General Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the hotel's operations, including managing staff, overseeing financial performance, and maintaining the hotel's reputation as a premier destination.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve hotel objectives and maximize revenue
2. Oversee all hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
3. Manage and motivate a diverse team of employees, ensuring high levels of productivity and guest satisfaction
4. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures to achieve budgeted goals
5. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations
6. Maintain the hotel's reputation as a premier destination by delivering exceptional guest experiences
7. Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a prompt and professional manner
8. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute effective strategies to attract and retain guests
9. Stay current on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to enhance the hotel's offerings
10. Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the highest quality of products and services

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Hotel General Manager or similar role
2. Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
3. Excellent organizational and time management skills
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
6. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
7. Knowledge of hotel management software and systems
8. Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
9. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
10. Fluency in English and Albanian; additional languages are a plus
