About the location:


On an exclusive island in the heart of the Kingdom’s capital, Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, with its unique architecture, has become an iconic landmark that soars as a destination in its own right, combining the best of a beach holiday and an urban getaway.

The Residence Overnight Supervisor acts as the overall in charge for the property in the overnight shift, overlooking night cleaning team, security, engineering and guest service team. They respond to a wide variety of homeowner requests including but not limited to emergencies, they accurately assess resident’s needs and inquiries; offering personal recommendations and personalized touches to achieve maximum resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. 


TASKS  


  • Frequently tours the residential property and monitors the activities of all departments. Monitors their activities to ensure that standards are being met, staff is being supported and resident needs are being met.   
  • Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well being of residents and employees without requiring special direction. Responds swiftly and effectively in any residential emergency or safety situation.   
  • Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with all departments · 
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to relate to all levels of staff. 
  • Works closely with Guest Service team to ensure smooth handling of resident luggage, deliveries and special requests during night shift. 
  • Assist in other areas of the department as needed. 
  • Nightly check of cleaning quality performed by overnight contractor cleaning staff in the public area of the residential property. Provide any guidance and fix any issues occur to maintain the best quality of cleanliness. Communicate deficiencies with Residence manager or Senior Director of Housekeeping.  
  • Frequently patrol residential amenities, to remove soiled towels and trash as well as refill necessary amenity such as water and towels in spaces needed  
  • Patrol the public spaces such as public restrooms, resident floor corridors where no longer staffed to ensure the safety of the property and staff playing the role of Security Duties. 
  • Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of residents and employees without requiring special direction.  
  • Prepares Morning Briefing packages, prepare detailed information on issues occurred during own shift and from previous shift for proper hand over to the next shift.  
  • Handles all resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism – accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves resident complaints; assists residents in all inquiries in connection with common area services, a la carte requests, etc. Responds to all resident requests in an accurate and timely manner making recommendations based on local knowledge and residence best practices.   
  • Processes packages, faxes, messages, and mail which may be either outgoing or incoming in an accurate and timely manner; stores and retrieves resident packages, groceries, luggage, dry cleaning and flowers. Coordinates with Residential Attendant for the retrieval of resident’s vehicles.  
  • Manages and provides access to the building(s) and units with all vendor/contractor/resident’s service providers and visitors, based on advanced  authorization, assists with vendor/contractor scheduling, verifies identity and provides appropriate residence access for vendor/contractors and resident’s service providers.  Controls entry doors and elevator/lift access.  
  • Updates homeowner profiles with any relevant information  
  • Utilizes a variety of software programs to accurately input special arrangements (i.e. Engineering and Housekeeping requests) the resident has made and ensures coordination with outside service provider for direct billing  
  • Monitors the fire alarm panel; responds to any emergency situation, such as providing access to emergency personnel - fire department, ambulance, etc.  
  • Coordinates the booking of the service elevators/lifts and loading dock/bay for move-in or move-out  
  • Complies with all Four Seasons’ guidelines, policies and procedures  

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES  


  • Acts as the Supervisor on duty in the building and forms part of the Emergency Response team 
  • Assists Resident Service Attendants with responsibilities and duties in their absence or due to heavy volume periods 
  • Ensures that the Residential Lobby is in optimal condition of cleanliness and tidiness at all times 
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residential Leaders  

SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES  


  • At least two years of post-secondary education is preferred 
  • Previous two to three years of Residence/Front Office and Housekeeping experience in a luxury environment 
  • Physical by nature, this position requires standing for 8 hours per shift 
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task, and have a high attention to detail 
  • Must be willing to work overnights, weekends and holidays 
  • Must have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also have a warm welcoming smile, a positive attitude and be knowledgeable about the local area 
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal; an additional language an asset 
  • Strong crisis management skills  
  • Strong supervisory skills  
  • Strong commitment to service  
  • Excellent communication skills  
  • Ability to use variety of software 
  • A valid driver’s license
